Foundations & Covenant teams

“Him we proclaim,
warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom,
that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
(Col 1:28 ESV)

Learning and living God’s Word is important at every age.  Foundations of biblical training on Sunday morning are a priority training, fellowship, prayer and outreach arm of our church ministry.   Approximately 75% of those who attend our church are also in a "foundations" class.  We hope that number continues to grow!  One of the best ways to grow at Calvary is to get involved in foundation classes (listing below) and a covenant team.  See you this Sunday at 9:00 am!

“Foundations” of Biblical Education

The purpose of “Foundations” classes at Calvary is to faithfully and accurately teach God’s Word.  Ultimately, the goal is for His glory to be seen through individuals practically applying God’s Word to their daily lives.

Covenant Teams
.... In foundation classes for adults there are one or more covenant teams.
Covenant teams at Calvary provide the structure for developing and growing authentic Biblical relationships.  This commitment forms the basis of a covenant in which the group cares for, serves, and encourages one another, thus growing in Christ as truth comes to life.

The Gospel Project takes you through the storyline of Scripture in three years.  From the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation, we see that God’s Word is not a series of disconnected writings and stories but one grand narrative with a beginning, an eternal end, and a purpose—to reveal Jesus Christ as God’s Son, our Savior and Lord.
